About QPI Calculator

QPI Calculator is a free, independent set of academic tools built to help students calculate, understand, and track their Quality Point Index — quickly, accurately, and without needing to sign up for anything.

What we build

Our main tool is the general QPI Calculator, which applies the standard weighted-average formula — Σ(grade point × units) ÷ Σ(units) — to whatever courses you enter. Alongside it, we maintain specialized calculators framed for specific contexts (Ateneo, ADMU, and COMPSAT), a UPG estimator for UPCAT applicants, and educational content like our QPI Meaning guide and blog.

Our approach

We keep the underlying math transparent — every calculator on this site shows its full per-course breakdown, not just a final number — and we're careful not to present unverified, institution-specific policies (like exact honors thresholds or admissions formulas) as fact. Where a topic depends on your specific school's official policy, we say so and point you toward the right place to confirm it.

Independence

QPI Calculator is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university named on this site, including Ateneo de Manila University or the University of the Philippines. Institution names are used solely to describe the audience each specialized tool is built for.
